Maruti Suzuki launched the Jimny SUV in India this month with a starting price of Rs. 12.74 lakh (ex-showroom). The Maruti Suzuki Jimny has already received over 31,000 bookings since its pre-booking began in January. The car currently has a waiting period of seven to eight months.

The Maruti Jimny is available in two variants – Zeta and Alpha. The manual variants are more in demand than the automatic ones, and the Alpha variant has received more bookings than the Zeta trim.

The Maruti Jimny is powered by a K15B Series 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 154Nm of peak torque. It comes with a five-speed manual or a four-speed torque converter unit, and the AllGrip Pro 4×4 system is standard across all variants.
The ex-showroom prices of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny range from Rs. 12.74 lakh to Rs. 15.05 lakh depending on the variant.
